Grace You Desperately Need
Ever feel like you’re constantly falling short?
You mess up, miss the mark, or let someone down… and instead of moving on, you replay it all like a highlight reel in your mind. Maybe you’re not where you thought you’d be in life. You’ve made mistakes, maybe even some you deeply regret. And if you’re anything like me, you can be your own worst enemy… to top it off, you can’t even remember how to give yourself grace…

The world says “do better, be better,” but sometimes we just need to pause and breath. Yes, we’re called to grow.
But that growth doesn’t come from self-condemnation… it comes from grace. The kind that doesn’t make sense to the world.
The kind God lavishes on us even when we mess it all up.
And here’s the hard truth: Even after becoming a Christian, I still beat myself up more than anyone else ever could!
Yes, you read that right. That inner critic is loud and relentless… if we don’t shut it down…
You feel that, right?
God knew this.
That’s why 2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us to “take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ.” Our thoughts, words, and beliefs should reflect His truth, not the lies the world tells us… the lies we’ve rehearsed for years.
Go here to dive deeper into the power of our words.
My Grace is Sufficient For You…
Because here’s the truth:
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” ~ 2 Corinthians 12:9
If God’s grace is sufficient… why do we treat ourselves like it’s not?
It’s time to stop talking to yourself like a failure and start seeing yourself through His eyes.
You’re not just stumbling through life… you’re growing in grace.
Grace isn’t a pass for perfection.
It’s the gift that allows us to stand back up when we fall. It’s what empowers us to try again.
It’s for the mom who lost her temper, the entrepreneur who missed the mark, the woman who feels like she’s never enough.
“Grace, ready or not, is here for you.” Sometimes looking up simple quotes or give yourself grace quotes, can remind us of Gods truth.

Whether you feel worthy or not. Whether you had a good day or blew it completely. Whether you’re on track or hanging by a thread… His grace IS enough.
How to Give Yourself Grace (and Grow In It)
- Pause Before You Spiral
Before the shame train leaves the station, stop. The Pause App (yep, that’s what it’s called!) is a free app that helps you take 1-minute, 3-minute, or 10-minute breaks to reset your heart and mind. There’s even a video series inside the app based on the book “Experience Jesus. Really: Finding Refuge, Strength, and Wonder through Everyday Encounters with God” by John Eldredge. I highly recommend it for anyone feeling worn out and spiritually dry.
You can download the Pause App for free on Apple devices here or Android devices here. It’s a simple but powerful tool to help you reset, breathe, and reconnect with God… even on your busiest days. ⏸️ - Read or Listen to “Experience Jesus. Really.” by John Eldredge
This book helped me more than I expected. It is so powerful! It’s packed with encouragement for weary hearts and gives real tools to recover your joy in the chaos of life… to help you grow in grace. You can check it out here:
📖 Experience Jesus. Really: by John Eldredge - Soak in God’s Truth Repeatedly
Repetition changes the brain. That’s why Scripture tells us to meditate on God’s Word day and night (Joshua 1:8). Speak grace over yourself. Use sticky notes. Record voice memos. Flood your heart with truth.
Need a place to start? Here are some of my favorite ‘give grace quotes’ and wise words to speak out loud:- “My grace is sufficient for you.” ~ 2 Corinthians 12:9

You are not your mistakes.
You are not your last failure.
You are a masterpiece in progress.
