Time Is Short
I never imagined our family would feel this torn. I have tried to mend things. I have cried. I remember the years I lost with my sister in Heaven.
Time is short. My mother heart aches. When I feel empty, prayers for my adult children become my words… I turn to God.
Two kids who were once inseparable… a rift that stretched with hurt words and missed dinners… me in the middle, praying it would soften. After the car accident we made progress… Easter gathered us for one group photo.
But now we are here again. A birthday is near. Invitations sent. Silence. A text that says, “I will wish her the best”… and a daughter whispering, “I just want my family to love me again… and I do not want to be alone.”
Today I am writing prayers for adult children… for sons, for daughters, for all of us. No judgment. Just honest prayer and hope.

How To Use This Post
Read one prayer out loud each day. Copy a line into your prayer journal. Text a prayer to a child when the Spirit nudges you. Save the memory verses at the end. God hears… and He is kind.

1. Prayer For Daughter Encouragement
Lord, lift the daughter I love. When her heart feels heavy, remind her that You are near. Let kind words find her today. Give her courage to try again, to forgive again, to hope again. I bless her mind with peace and her steps with light. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
2. Prayer For My Daughter Healing
Jesus, You are the Healer. Touch my daughter’s body and heart. Heal old wounds and present pain. Silence lies with Your truth. Wrap her in Psalm 23 comfort… still waters, restored soul, Your rod and staff that guide and protect. Amen.
3. Prayer For Son Life
