Just Create Content! 🤪

So… you keep hearing people say “just create content!” like it’s as easy as breathing. But when you sit down to actually do it… you freeze.
“What is content creation?” 🤔
“What do I post?”
“Who’s even going to see this?”
“Does this even matter?”

That was me too. I’d stare at the screen, overwhelmed by all the options, comparing myself to successful creators who made it all look effortless.

I didn’t even know what content creation really meant, much less how to do it well.

The truth is, most beginners never get past this part. They get stuck Googling, spinning their wheels, and trying to copy strategies that aren’t made for them.

Without a clear plan, content creation feels random. It’s exhausting trying to be everywhere, post everything, and get zero traction in return. You might be wondering if you’re even cut out for this…

And if you’re like I was… maybe trying to start a blog or online business from scratch… you might not have extra time, energy, or tech skills to waste. Especially when you’re juggling life, family, health, or healing.

Let’s simplify this.

So… What is Content Creation? 🤔

Content creation is simply the process of making useful, entertaining, or educational material to share online… so that you can connect with the right audience.

It can be:

  • Videos on YouTube or Pinterest
  • Images with text overlays on Instagram
  • Blog posts just like this one 😉
  • Short tips, reels, or lives on social media
  • Or even emails or digital products that solve problems

Basically, content is how you show up, serve, and build trust online… one post at a time.

How To Become a Content Creator

Becoming a content creator just means sharing helpful, entertaining, or inspiring content online… like blog posts, videos, or social media tips. All you really need is something to say, a way to share it (like Pinterest, YouTube, or a blog), and the courage to start… even if it’s messy at first. 😊

📝 Content Creation for Beginners: Start Here

Here’s how to keep it simple when you’re just getting started:

1. Choose your platform.

You don’t need to be everywhere. If you’re a beginner, I recommend starting with Pinterest (for passive traffic) or YouTube Shorts (if you like video). Choose ONE and build from there.

2. Know who you’re talking to.

Think about your niche market (or whoever your ideal person is). What does she struggle with? What would encourage or help her? That’s what your content should focus on.

3. Use a simple content creator schedule.

You don’t have to post every day. Try creating 1-2 pieces of content each week that are valuable, authentic, and faith-driven.

Need inspiration? Try these beginner-friendly content creation ideas:

  • “3 things I wish I knew before I started”
  • “One tool that saved me hours”
  • “A Bible verse that helped me in my business”
  • “Behind-the-scenes of how I create my pins/blog/videos”

4. Batch and repurpose.

One of the best content creator tips I learned is to take one piece of content, alter it slightly, then reuse it on another platform!

It makes things so much easier!

Record a short video → Turn it into a pin → Write a mini blog → Share a quote on Instagram.

You don’t have to reinvent the wheel every time!

Content creating doesn’t have to be complicated.

❤️ A Final Word for the Beginner

You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to start.

I spent years spinning in circles… afraid to mess it up, overthinking every post, and comparing myself to people with bigger platforms. But once I got clear on my message and leaned into faith, simplicity, and service, content creation became fun (and finally started working).

This is a journey. And your story, voice, and message matter.

Until next time…

All my love,

SusieQ
